The Fashion Icons I’m Thankful For

In the spirit of Thanksgiving let’s give thanks to the fashion icons who have paved the way for all of the inspiring designers, fashion bloggers and lovers of fashion world wide. Let’s say a big thank you for paving the way, giving us inspiration, hope and a fierce passion for all things fashion.  With that said I want to offer you a list of some of the people who I feel have truly made an impact in both fashion and my life: Coco Chanel– No fashion list would be complete without mentioning the woman who completely reinvented women’s fashion as a whole. Today marks the 50th Anniversary of JFK’s death. To commemorate the glamorous glory of the Kennedys, Reminisce—North America’s top-selling nostalgia magazine—has unveiled a special slideshow entitled: Jackie O, the First Lady of Fashion. “From her pill box hats to her dainty headscarves, her trendy capes to her elegant, flowing dresses, Jackie Kennedy has been and continues to be an inspiration to fashionistas past and present. Although soft spoken, the First Lady and her clothes made bold statements that signaled the new era of the Kennedys in the White House.”

Sweater Weather: All $30 and Under!

There is nothing better than bundling up in a chic sweater with so much style that it looks like you paid a million bucks for it. But never fear because we all know “You don’t have to spend a Million Bucks to look like a Million Bucks” Below are my top picks for sweaters all under 30 dollars! 1. This  burgundy sweater with gold zipper detail is having a major moment!   The color is on trend and the zipper in the back adds a little something unexpected. What’s even more surprising about this sweater is that its only $22.80 at Forever 21! 2.    I love stripes, especially when teamed with leather. This sweater can be worn with jeans, or dressed up and worn with a slim black pant (not leggings, remember leggings are not pants), or tucked into a super cute skirt and worn with booties to your next holiday party.  However you decide to wear it, this sweater has great versatility and the best part…..its  ONLY $29.95! 3 .   Whats not to love  …
