This is Travalo, the leading refillable fragrance atomizer. It is TSA approved, comes in a variety of colors, and holds up to 65 sprays of fragrance. Instead of bringing the entire bottle of your favorite perfume, and risking not being able to bring it on the plane, you can transfer the scent into Travalo. Travalo is available in several stores including Ulta,  Saks, and Nordstrom Rack and retails for $19.99. It comes in several colors and styles. To see them all CLICK HERE. Is this a product you could see yourself using? I’m going to test mine out on the road this coming week as I travel to NYC. Fall Vacation Tips: The Best Trips To Take With Friends

Have you got post-vacation blues? Are you already missing the feel of the sunshine on your skin or the sight of clear blue skies? If so, the best remedy is booking another trip. You can never travel too much. Every time you go away, it should be an adventure. Vacations are an opportunity to learn new things, see different places, and spend quality time with the people you love. If you’re looking for fall vacation ideas, here are some of the best trips to take with friends. Camping Fall is not usually synonymous with camping. But this is the most beautiful time of the year, and it’s a fantastic season to discover nature and appreciate the outdoors. While the days are still relatively bright, and it’s not too chilly, camping is a fun and affordable option. You can pitch a tent in a national park, or park your camper up by the ocean. Get some chairs out, light a fire, and reminisce about those embarrassing school days. Put some music on, toast some marshmallows, and …

When In Portland

Thrifting has always been confusing to me. I never understood the appeal. Where I grew up the nearest thrift store was the local Goodwill. Great prices, of course, but nothing there was particularly appealing. It wasn’t until recently that I discovered that the real thrifting finds are a lot about location of the store. Thrift shops located closer to cities and larger populations of trendy young people are typically where you can find the best steals (in my experience.) Recently I took a trip out to Portland, Oregon, where there is a plethora of young, trendy people. My entire tainted vision of thrift shops being filled with old sports team t-shirts, jeans you wore in middle school, and stained work shirts was totally shattered. Visiting thrift shops in Portland made me want to start thrifting. I didn’t know why these people didn’t want these awesome clothes anymore, I didn’t care, because now I wanted them. After visiting a few shops I decided on a long-sleeved, black t-shirt dress by Stolen Girlfriends Club. It has a …

The City of Lights Part I

Paris is one of those places every girl dreams of visiting one day. And for me? It became a reality. My three best friends and I visited the City of Lights for a week-long vacation. A last hoopla before we all go our separate ways for college. Paris fell nothing short of my expectations. I fell in love with the city’s architecture, cobblestone streets, boulangeries, patisseries and cafes lining every street. I learned how to navigate the area and check out other neighborhoods or “arrondissements” via Metro.  Most of all I enjoyed the people, the accents, the cute guys, and the atmosphere in general. Our days were jam-packed with things to do. Time seemed to bleed together. We often had to ask ourselves “Did we visit that place earlier today or was it yesterday?” There were plenty of times when I just felt like taking a nap or a break to rest my feet… we were very “Go, Go, Go” in an attempt to absorb all that we could in the short amount of time …

What Will You Be Carrying This School Year?

Whether you’re in high school or college, it’s that time of year again to go back-to-school. And who’s to say you can’t start off the school year with a bang?! Something that always makes me have a more positive approach to the upcoming school year is picking out the perfect bag to carry my books and homework. It is crucial to get something that is great quality, chic and comfortable because you will be using it everyday. You also want to get something that is not too pricey. One of my very favorite ways to shop for bags is online. You can find some super cute ones that can dress up every outfit and make you stand out from the crowd. You want something that is unique. One of the worst situations is walking in on the first day and realizing a bunch of other girls have the same bag as you… When you walk in on the first day of school you want to feel confident and know that you look fierce.
