3 Holiday Gift Suggestions That I Tested Myself

Hips-Sister | For the Workout Woman Created by a woman who wanted to design an alternative to the dreaded fanny pack, Hips-sister is a fashionable and functional belt that you can slip over your hips and store your phone, keys, money, earphones, etc. when you workout.  I think this is a genius idea. There’s been times where I didn’t have pockets to keep my phone or keys in, but I wanted to go for a run on the campus track. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving it on the bleachers where I wouldn’t be able to keep an eye on it, so I awkwardly held everything in my hand, or in my bra. Thankfully, Hips-sister is a much better alternative. I can be hands free when I run without having to worry about anything spilling out.  Hips-sister comes in three sizes, A, B, and C ranging from a size 2-24. They have plenty of fabric choices and colors so you can express yourself in your own unique way. Best of all, they’re very inexpensive, averaging at $25. …

How to Make Your College Room Feel Like Home During the Holidays

The holidays are coming and for those who love bling and glitter in their decor, it’s a happy time of year. Tis the season to be sparkly and even if you aren’t going home for the Christmas break, there are ways to pretty-up your college room so you don’t feel you’re missing out on any homespun holiday fun. So how do you jolly-up a drab college room? For an instant brightening of mood, string fairy lights around the place. They come in all shapes, sizes and colors these days, so decide on a theme then follow it through with lights that sparkle and shimmer. Twinkling lights suspended from the ceiling, trailing down walls like waterfalls, wrapped around bedposts, framing windows, mirrors and pictures, coiled around pillars or simply glowing through sheer muslin drapes, will introduce instant magic into any room. What to Wear For 4th of July 2014

I am the type of person to break the “rules” when it comes to fashion. I don’t wear red and green on Christmas, I don’t wear green on St. Patrick’s Day and recently I’ve stopped wearing red-white-and-blue on the fourth of july. Fashion is supposed to be fun and creative! For some, “fun” is dressing in the themed colors, but for others like me, “fun” is stepping outside of the box and saying “to heck with the rules!” Below are some options for what to wear on the fourth if you’re not into the classic stars and stripes combo.   4th of July Outfit by niyah featuring a zip crop top 4th of july outfits by niyah featuring surgical steel earrings 4th of July Outfits by niyah featuring set rings 4th of july outfit by niyah featuring a romper jumpsuit
