It’s the year 2014!! I cannot believe how fast 2013 went by. A lot happened this past year; I met some new friends, helped my teammates go to nationals in track (they won their event!), walked in my first real fashion show, had my besties come visit me from Illinois, babysat my next door neighbor for the entire summer, began my senior year of high school, turned 18, continued getting modeling opportunities, was featured in Instyle magazine, got baptized, celebrated, cried, laughed, reevaluated… Ha, it has definitely been an interesting and very blessed year. I think a lot of times a new year is like a blank page. A new chapter in your book of life. You can either choose to keep living it the way you always have, or make small changes to improve. This can mean changing what you eat, how much you exercise and of course what you wear! I am sure that you all know and love the recent color blocking trend however now that spring is here and pastel is considered this year’s “neon” maybe you should consider pastel blocking.  You may ask yourself what is pastel blocking all about. Well its simple pastel blocking ( I totally came up with this word) is the art of combining two or more pastel colored pieces into one fab outfit. Here are some examples. Don’t be afraid to experiment with colors. Baby blue, mint, lavender, lemon, light pink, light green and peach can look as fab combined together as styled individually.
