2 DIY Hairstyles Perfect for Valentine’s Day

The following looks are from Sasha Coefield’s (creator of the popular beauty and fashion YouTube Channel AskSash88) new book where she shares her braiding secrets in DIY Braids: From Crowns to Fishtails, Easy, Step-by-Step Hair BraidingInstructions (Adams Media, December 2013). Coefield features a ton of great hairstyles that are really easy to achieve (I learned how to create my first fishtail braid from the book!).  Here are two of my favorite styles that would be great for Valentine’s Day! 1. Dutch Braided Spiral  Step 1: Divide the hair at the front of your head into three sections. Make sure to use medium-size sections when braiding since his hairstyle looks best with a bigger chunkier braid. Step 2: Start Dutch Braiding by taking the section of hair on the right and putting it under the middle section. Then take the section on the left and cross it underneath the section in the middle.
