One of the quickest ways to put a damper in your mood is to select your favorite dress or top to wear for the day, only to realize it’s full of wrinkles. At this point, you’re already running late to your first class, and don’t have time to whip out the iron and ironing board, wait for it to get hot, and spend another 5 minutes pressing it. Downy just released an improved wrinkle-releasing spray that just may save you from all of that exhaustion.
The wrinkle-releaser plus is known as “the wonder bottle” because it has 101 uses for the home, family, and traveler. Some of these include removing creases from pillowcases and bedsheets, removing odors to freshen up furniture and clothing, as well as eliminating static cling. I decided to try it out for myself…

STEP 4 is to let the garment hang and dry for a minute.
As you can see the spray didn’t 100% get rid of every wrinkle, but it did greatly reduce the wrinkles. If you’re still not ready to get rid of your iron, you can use the spray as an ironing aid. It’s more effective than using water and doesn’t leave the same residue as starch.
Here’s the before and after right next to each other for a better look:
- The smell really is great. I could definitely see myself using this to freshen up my clothes and bedding.
- It’s quicker to use than an iron
- It released the majority of the wrinkles
- It has several other great uses
- It comes in a travel size
- It’s fairly inexpensive (ranges from $1.99-$6.99)
- It didn’t 100% get rid of the wrinkles like I was hoping
Since school is coming up, I would recommend this as something to add to your BTS list. In days when you’re in a rush for class or a meeting, Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus may be your best bet. Have you all tried this product? If so, let me know what you think in the comments below.
